Ligand conformational effects on the resonance Raman signature of [Fe(sub 4) S(sub 4)(SAryl)(sub 4)](super 2) clusters
Article Abstract:
Proteins containing [4Fe-4S] chromophores belong to a large family of iron-sulfur proteins that are known for their light absorptions in the UV-vis region, diverse structural motifs, variable redox and spin-state properties, and facile electrontransfer dynamics. The characteristics and the role that the protein matrix plays in modulating the properties of the [4Fe-4S] cluster continue to engender biophysical and theoretical studies.

Maximal use of minimal libraries through the adaptive substituent reordering algorithm
Article Abstract:
An adaptive algorithm is described for interpolation over a library of molecules subjected to synthesis and property of assaying. The enhanced algorithm is tested on copolymer and transition metal complex libraries, and the results demonstrate the capability of the algorithm to accurately interpolate various properties of both molecular libraries.
